The RCB Project

Riverside Church was launched in 2014 in the city of Budapest, Hungary.  RCB  began in a rented room in a cultural center with a handful of people.  As that room began to fill, a bigger space nearby was found.  RCB moved into this new building after renovations were completed.  The church continued to grow until we reached an average attendance of over 200, once again filling our space to capacity (even with two services).  Once again, the search began for a new place to meet.  Little did we know how long it would take and that something called COVID-19 would greatly affect our plans.  Fast forward to 2021 and the opportunity arose to lease an old disco, which interestingly enough, is located in our current building.  We felt that God had led us to this space and signed a contract earlier this year. Getting started was a slow process, not really beginning renovations until September.  We are on a tight time schedule, trying to finish the project by the end of the year.  We still have much work to do and about $60,000 to raise in order to complete the project.
